THE FEELING

//Intro// La La La (x10)

//Verse// There ain't nothing to write home about there's no one in particular who's making you move. On a Monday get together and by Friday you've already fallen out of the groove. You wanna get lost in the night? Gotta give into the feeling. You wanna give into the feeling? Gotta give into the night. When somebody turn around and gave you something to believe in you get something to prove.

//Verse// Ya gotta lay it on the line and hope it don't get too heavy. He said mama you're the ground I'm walking I don't get a straight line if we aren't going steady. I gotta get lost in the night, gotta give into the feeling. I wanna get lost in the feeling wanna give into the night. And I stole an ibuprofen from the bathroom cause I needed it. I felt it already.

//Chorus// And it ain't worth it being hurt by loving isn't worth it honey being hurt by love isn't worth it being hurt till your la la la lost in the feeling now.

//Intro//

//Verse// Listen I don't wanna argue cause I know that when we get there we get out of control. When I wanna say my part and then you take it all to heart and then we get on a roll. I wanna get lost in the night gotta give into the feeling I wanna get lost in the feeling gotta give into the night. We keep working up to nothing, I could feel the closure coming up from deep in my soul.

//Chorus//

//Bridge// So you think you finally found what you believe in, believe in, believe in, but you're leaving. And there ain't no way around it when you're feeling you're feeling, you're feeling, what you're feeling, isn't worth it. Being hurt by loving isn't worth it honey being hurt by love if I can't get with the two of us what about the three of us? When it's me myself and I!

//Chorus//

//Intro//

FLESH & BONE

//Verse// Today would have been the perfect day to go to the beach. I'm on the sofa trying to get over a hate speech. We do not love ourselves the way the prophets teach.

Even Jesus kept his feelings like a lamp in the dark, until he flipped the tables over up in the market. Oh mother, there are lamps but there are sparks.

//Chorus// But I need to know. I don't need to be shown. I gotta see it for myself, I gotta learn it on my own. I need to know if I am flesh and bone? And am I still growing? Or full grown? And am I still growing? Or full grown?

//Verse// She's coming up for the rising like the dark before dawn. She has come to a place where she feels like her loves gone. She has come of an age when a line should be drawn.

He's walking round in a tank top getting caught in a bluff. "Little boys do not cry. Don't you think that you're hot stuff?" It's real tough when your daddy don't call you enough.

//Chorus//

//Bridge// Striking matches to watch them burn in my childhood bedroom. Little time, little water and light, little seed every bud blooms (x2)

There are days I need to tell myself I'm doing alright. My inner-child and my ego got caught up in a knife fight. I get nervous and then I will get out of sight.

Cause everybody I came up with says that I'm moving too slow, but it's cool tho. I can hear my people when I check out the show. I feel real low

//Chorus// (x2)

LIVING ROOM FLOOR

//Verse// Woke up nearly 6 ‘o clock, it was our last day in Vermont, one of us was still missing.

Staying at Tommy’s place doing nothing but playing for no pay and anybody who wanted to listen.

Tommy had a buddy had turned twenty-one at midnight just a couple hours before.

I look to my left, seen him wake up laughing on a blanket on some bullshit, all alone on the living room floor.

I keep a portrait in my pocket of myself the year I got stung by that silly man.

You can see the first in my eyes as he fired off to no surprise, he didn’t come to give a damn.

And the bottle of merlot fell over when he got up to go and he finally slammed the door. Wait, what have we got left?

Seen it come up easy, blood and baking soda scrubbing at the rug on my living room floor.

//Bridge// I am in my own lane, I will not let myself down.

I am in my own lane, I am my own house ( x 4)

//Verse// When that old man come to visit he said ‘Is it ever tough to look back? Does it get too loud?’

‘Do you ever wish you could have done the things you never done? Are you sentimental mama, are you proud?’

‘And you didnt have to order out for me, I know it’s something that you can’t afford. Have you got any left?’

I tell him ‘babe I made this, with my own hands, aint it something?’

Sitting cross-legged, because we haven’t got a table yet.

Saving up, gonna get a few chairs, gonna get a whole set.

I’ve got my bed and my closet and a living room floor.

THE BOX

//A Section// If you put a woman in a box, and you put a man right there beside her, told them both to play the leader who you think would take the lead?

Which of them would get their point across, in which of them would just have to ‘yes indeed’.

If you put a man in a box and a woman right beside him, tell em take make the thing you’re made for and you make it out OK

Which of them you think is sticking it out, and which of them is kicking out the same damn day?

//B section// We are gathered here today to learn about our own race.

Let us refrain from any bias as the observations take place

//A section// If you put a woman in a box, and you put a man right there beside her. ‘It’s important that I spend tonight alone, is that OK?’

Which of them you think will understand, and which of them will stand in the other ones way?

If you put a woman in a box, oh what does it mean to be a woman in a box what is it like to be a man?

Which of them you think would stand in the other ones way? And who would understand?

//B section// Oh he sees her putting her dress on, and letting her hair out.

He takes a head full of high hopes to the porch where it can air out.

She’s got a half a mind to think it will never be the right time, Oh maybe

But they got a hell a lot of thinking to do before nighttime

We put a woman in a box and a man right there beside her.

And they took care of each other and they don’t ask for too much

And the woman and the man discover better ways to talk like through song and touch

//B section// Shes having a happy box morning, cooking with no pants on.

He clears a little bit of living room floor for them to dance on.

(Go get your dance on)

We are gathered here today to learn about our own selves

Let us be like lil children, learning from our grown selves.

We come together we say

Woooaaah Woooaaah Woooaaah x2

JACKIE ONASSIS

//A section// I'm about to tell a story that I haven't yet. About the most intelligent woman that I ever met. She looked like Jackie Onassis, top of her classes, I'm doing my best just passing by.

I'm so funny in my body I can barely walk. I'm so full of them funny feelings that I could barely talk, and here comes Jackie Onassis — don’t need to ask it, have you ever seen a woman so fine?

//B section// She said "Come on out, just a couple hours, we gonna have a real good time" and I tell her "Where ya goin’, where ya goin' when ya comin' home?" Somebody in the front seat calls out "everyone quit wasting my time! gotta hit the road and hit the road hit the road” There they go and there they go and I was on my own.

//A section// I ain't never spoke my mind out in a crowded place. I ain't got no cool demeanor and smooth talking waist, cause I ain't like Jackie Onassis. Girls in sunglasses looking me up like I'm part of some game.

Well the altercation happened ‘round the tenth of may. Some poorly dressed spectator had something unkind to say. It comes back to me in flashes. I get risky there's a swing and a miss and I'm all ashamed.

//B section// And when she found me I was in pieces, crying hard into my hat. She tell me "Mama you look lovely when you take a stand”. And I tell her "No one's ever been so king to me and I thank you for that”. She said "Here ya go and here ya go here ya go” took her hair out a bow and laid that ribbon in my hand.

//C section// Look at that lady! She carries herself right, she’s singing ooah ooah oh ahah. She's the first lady! To walk me thru the night, I'm singing ooah ooah oh ahah

//B section// I got sunny days on a track field, laughing hard just me and mine. Got a great part in the spring play after all.

I got my rose pink tinted glasses and they fit me just fine and I let it go and let it go let it go aapado bapadopo bapado bapadopo bapa

//C section// (x4)

CREO LO SIENTES

//Chorus// How do I say what you already know? Talk with my hands maybe take it real slow?

Como se dice en español? ¿A dónde vas después del show?

//Ya-ya section//

//Verse// I get a vibe from you honey. Cloudy days walking ‘round feeling sunny.

I’m a smooth talking lady what it comes to everybody but you. Aint that funny? (So funny!)

And when I rise in the morning, there I find you on my mind without warning.

Ooh and then there’s nothing left I can do, every time you come through.

//Organ interlude//

//Verse 2// Woah, I see you there with your ball-cap and button up jeans.

(C-Bass) Mamita, you can’t rush a good thing.

We'll take your time by all means, woah.

And now we’re walking real slow on the pavement together. Wanna hit you with the heavy while you’re talking ‘bout the weather.

I’m telling you I wanna, y no me dices nada, can’t tell what it means.

//Chorus// How do I say what you already know? Talk with my hands maybe take it real slow?

Como se dice en español? ¿A dónde vas después del show?

Working the words out and walking your way, hoping it works out and maybe someday..

You’ll let me know that it’s all ok. Creo lo sientes, pero no se.

//Ya-ya section//

//BRIDGE//

(Sammy) Hola papa. ¿Qué paso?

(C-Bass) Hola mami, pasa nada. ¿Qué tu quieres? ¿Que tu piensas, de nosotros tu y yo? Hola, guapa. ¿Que paso?

(Sammy) Hola papi, pasa nada.

//Chorus// x2

ENGLISH BRIDGE TRANSLATION

(Sammy) Hey papa, whats up?

(C-Bass) Hey girl, not much. What do you like? What do you think, about us you and me? Hello cutie, whats up?

(Sammy) Hey papa, nothing much. What do you like? What do you think about us, you and me?

(C-Bass) I saw you go by, and again, time stopped. With your looks and your perfume, I was speechless.

I want to win you with all my poetry. And all the stars in the sky, you would bring them down.

CLOSER TO YOU

//A section// I feel better when I feel happy, I feel worse when I feel sad. And I felt better since I met you, I’m forgetting about the bad times and there’s nothing wrong with that, No, nothing’s wrong with that.

I’m picking up on what you’re putting on me, connecting to your energy. We’re looking at the same big picture, not so bad. It don’t matter what your stance is, you say Janis, I say David Bowie Nothing’s wrong with that.

//B Section//And now I’m feeling real good about all the time we’ve been spending together, oooh, And while you’re talking about your childhood, I’m getting a whole lot closer to you. Don’t it feel good? Say ya love me? And I say I love ya too…I don’t know what to do, Cuz I’m getting a whole lot closer to you

//A Section//You feel better when you’re wearing perfume, Patchouli and a cherry blossom, Burning your copal, trying to clear your space
After a while I found the sweetness kinda cloudy in the house you was building – couldn’t find my place, couldn’t look me in the face,

//B Section// And now I know you’re getting closer to the center of the road,You got them brand new people around you, getting a whole lot closer to you. Don’t it feel good, won’t you hold me? Baby like we used to do…I don’t know what to do, Someone’s getting a whole lot closer to you

//Bridge//First it’s finding out you got a boyfriend,  that I’ve never met, Then I say ‘remember that night on the rooftop’ and you said ‘I forget’ And that don’t matter anymore….

//C Section// What you bringing a knife to a hand fight for?
What you bringing a gun to a knife fight for?
Where’d ya get that high horse, where are ya riding it?
Why you taking my love to a second-hand store?
You ain’t needing it no more
That don’t matter anymore

//A Section//About an hour and twenty minutes, That’s all that I can give you this week, Hoping you’re doing well, best of luck, and all.
I spend a good part of the year out of the country, Maybe we can find some time to take a call, I’ll be back in town in fall

//B Section//And I’m feeling real good, I have fallen in love,And I’m fully living, just the way we talked about ending up living when I was a whole lot closer to you. Hope ya feel good, hope ya been well, And I hope you have that too…Oooh, someone getting a whole lot closer to you.

GOOD LIFE

//Verse// The moon has never been so close before I could just reach out I could take it, take a bite of it and save it. He's talking about some stupid sneakers he wore, he said "I'll get em where they make it ain't no middle man to fake it”

//PreChorus// For a couple weeks I could feel it coming. A couple days I could hear the drumming. A tin of mints, a pack of gum, and we're freshening up as the morning comes. Bitter sweet for the most part bitter. It's one part sweet and it two parts bitter. It's one part sweet, I think it's one part sweet and it's two parts bitter

//Chorus// I got a taste of the good life in the middle of the night. It was about four 'clock on a Friday, as in four a.m. on a Saturday and I got a taste of the good life. I was feeling all right and I was in the backseat it was a long day. I was in a taxi on the cross island parkway

//Verse// It’s the kind of thing where you can never be sure if it's for worse or it's for better and it ain't no laughing matter. He's been keeping calm collected I'm insecure. It doesn't matter where he bought it, all that matters is he got it

//PreChorus//

//Chorus//

//Bridge// Couple weeks I could feel it coming! A couple days I could feel the drumming! A tin of mints and a pack of gum. We’re freshening up, the mornings coming. Bitter sweet for the most part bitter. It's one part sweet and it's two parts bitter one part sweet and I think it's one part sweet and a little too bitter

//Chorus//

KICK IT TO ME

//Verse// I know we used to have a lot of bad days. My stomach got to hurting in the worst way. Singin' the blues, all on my own in a dark room. Nobody there, all on my own in a dark room. Nowadays we got a lot of good news. You finally kicked the cigarettes, I ain't been singin’ the blues nearly as much since I been living with you love me too much and I say.

//Hook// Kick it to me I could make it better for ya, kick it to me I could make you better for it! (x4)

//Verse// I know we didn't think that it would turn out. Ya started off to quick you gonna burn out. Turn in, send her home when the night comes. Let it go, send her home when the night comes. Nowadays we headin; to the same place, nowadays we're working at the same place. I'm still here still bright when the night comes. Still burning, still bright when the night comes.

//Hook//

//Chorus// I didn't feel it on the first day, but now I got it in the worst way. And don't it feel alright? I get it bad and it gets better every day. I didn't think it was a good look, no! You get too worried how it could look. And don't it feel ok? I get it bad but it gets better every day.

//Bridge// And if I open the gates and I let in the light, you’re gonna get all of me or none at all. You're gonna get all of me or none at all. And if walking away ain't letting go, I wanna get all of you or none at all. I wanna get all of you or none at all!

//Chorus// (x3)

TALK IT UP

//Verse// Smokey walls, dusty halls, no one calls, and all the window plants are dying. She talk it up, half empty cup, half hearted love, half of the time halfway through crying. But she don't live here by herself. Sleeping in the bed she's made, reading books about self help, working late on Saturdays. Unless she's got something at stake?

//Verse// For heavens sake, keep him awake, make no mistake, he'll break down daily with no warning. Twenty years old, do as you’re told, get bought and sold, it's cold this early in the morning.

//PreChorus// And he’s living on tenth street, getting home right around dawn. Every night of every week he's proving every body wrong. Any day now it won't be long. Listen I say!

//Chorus// Don't ya stop it now! Come on give 'em all what they came here for! Never been done the same before. Talk it up till your face gets sore. Don't ya stop it now! Come on! Half a mile and we'll see the shore. Captain how can you be so sure? Talkin' up what I came here for!

//Verse// I've been holding my own, my rag and bone, lock up alone. I don't forget to double check it. No! And I learn to rely on me and I straighten my tie lace my own boots zip my own jacket.

//PreChorus// Because I did the best I could. I got taken down again. I got fire in my blood, I got sugar on my skin. I got nowhere to begin. Listen I say!

//Chorus//

//Bridge// See ya get what ya put in, so ya cannot get upset if you're just dipping your foot in because ya don't wanna get wet. And ya ain't made it big yet…

//Chorus// (x2)

SAW IT COMING

//Verse// Hey, ah
What I did was not a good thing to do
See, I made somebody go through something they didn't wanna go through.
I’m gonna get what's coming to me, I deserve it, even if I don't feel like I do.

Hey, ah
What I did was such a big thing to do.
See, I made it through something I didn’t think I would make it through.
And I'm gonna get that good that's coming to me, I deserve it, even if I don't feel like I do.

//Pre-Chorus//And if the clock's still runnin'
Then the door's still open.
It's the story of the ones who never saw it coming.
They never saw it coming.

//Verse// Hey, ah
Whatcha did was not a good thing to do.
And I’m gonna tell ya that, too.
You made somebody who got it tough just rough it out, make it through.
You know you’re gonna get what's coming to ya, you deserve it.
Even if you do not feel like you do. Oh, yes you do.

’Cause what you did was such a big thing to do.
You always stand up for yourself, that's why we're sticking up for you.
I want all my friends to get the good that's coming to ’em
They deserve it, even if they don't feel like they do. 'Cause they do.

//Pre-Chorus// And if the clock's still runnin'
Then the door's still open.
It's the story of the ones who never saw it coming.
And they don't need a reason
They can still get their moment.
It's the story of the ones who never saw it coming
They never saw it coming.
Here we go!

//Bridge// Ahhhh, ahhhh, ahhhhh, ahhhh, ahhhhh

Ahhhh, ahhhh, ahhhhh, ahhhh, ahhhhh

I took my bike out to my best friend's house
Tell him how I felt about the way it all went down
Woah on the night before.
He said, "Tell me, how'd you leave it?"
I said, "You wouldn't believe it
We had everybody in there just about rollin' on the floor
Mean, they were just rollin' on the floor
Man, they really dug us!"

//Pre-chorus// And if the clock's still runnin'
Then the door's still open
It's the story of the ones who never saw it coming
You don't need a reason
You can still get your moment.

It's the story of the ones who never saw it coming, ah
And you don't need a reason
You can still get your moment.
It's the story of the ones who never saw it coming
They didn't see it coming.

DENIM JACKET

//Verse// I'm at the after party. Everybody's talking for me, everybody's talking fast and loud. I figure maybe if I get my jacket, step outside and get myself some air then I could share myself more fully with the crowd.

It's in the front room closet. You find it with its pockets on the inside big enough to hold my shame. I put the thing around my shoulders suddenly looking like I did not come to play I already won the game.

//Chorus// I was anxious didn't know how to act. Socially speaking I had lost my tact. Nobody gave me no time to react. Good thing I had my bullet proof (Denim jacket)

//Verse// Now I'm on the patio, listening to an old friend who is crying on some man who never loved her right. And I say “Why don't you just do it for him? Write it in a get well soon card? Break it off real easy, ain't no need to start a fight?”

Somebody shouted over. “Why you always look that way and sound the way you do and why you try so hard?”. I say “Listen to the way you're talking. Nobody else feels that way now go read something somewhere if you think that you're so smart!”

//Chorus// x2

//Bridge// See I am under pressure but I ain't never fresher (x4)

When I think I'm doing more than enough, ya gotta tell me that it's never enough. I think I'm doing more than enough. Wouldn't ya say that it's never enough? But I got  my Denim jacket and I am under pressure, but I ain't been never fresher no

//Verse// I'm on the way back home. Walking to the beat I can feel the street below my feet I can feel the air so clear. Now papicito doesn't make no sense leaning up against the fence. He’s calling out something his mama wouldn't want to hear.

Said "Turn around now love. And I can call you love, because I love the way you walk away all straight up and tall. “Call me by my first name or you call me nothing at all cause we ain't no thing at all”

//Chorus// (x2)

WHATEVER WE FEEL

//Verse// I been wearing my hoops, I been wearing my big ol' silver hoops. I been walking round the house in 'em babe I been chilling on the couch in ‘em. I'm accenting with socks, I'm accenting with brightly colored socks. I been putting a show on for me babe. I'm the only one who knows it.

//Chorus// It’s whatever we feel it's whatever we want to do (x4)

It's the thing i wanna do it's the thing i wanna do i'm doing it (x2)

//Verse// I've been closing up shop. I've been winning when they say that i would not. I've been standing up to all of 'em babe i've been answering the call for ‘em. I quit playing them games. You can address me by all three of my names, 'cause i'm getting official about it babe, I've been all kinds of diligent.

//Chorus//

//Bridge// And if you don't agree i'm gonna keep doing me "Keep doing you tho, 'cause that's important too!" It's whatever you feel. It’s whatever you wanna do! It's whatever you feel. It’s whatever you wanna do. It’s the thing that you want!

//Verse// I didn't make it to the end. Graduate, get a job with all my friends. I get all kinds of sad when i think about it. I get all kinds of sorry for it. Can you catch my vibe? Long rides with the people in my tribe, coming to put a show on for ya babe. Go tell every one you know about it! If you don't know i'm going to tell you about it!

//Chorus//

LET'S THROW A PARTY

//Verse 1 // I get nervous when the girls dress in their summer clothes and anxious when the boys where all them button ups and sports jackets.

I wore a T-shirt to a family party, everybody overreacted.

There comes a point when hiding out in all them haunted hallways and hidden staircases , don’t make you feel like a grown woman anymore.

And it’s true, and I’m sorry.

//Piano + synth interlude//

//Verse 2// You can feel it, you can see it in your hands and eyebrows. You aint a kid now, but mama don’t you wish you could. Lay out that summer sun just getting freckles on your daddy’s Chevrolet car hood.

Ooh there comes a point, when spinning ‘round and walking sideways and taking ten paces don’t make you feel like it’s your birthday anymore.

And it’s true, and I’m sorry.

//Full band interlude//

//Pre-chorus// And I’m talking about my love, it’s not what you’re thinking of. Woah…

//Chorus// Let’s throw a party! Somebody’s turning thirty. Ooh and we aint looked this good, sing we don’t even know since when.

Let’s throw a party! I finally made some money. Ooh, and can you dig it baby? I finally dig myself again.

//Will Leet takes a cool guitar solo//

//Pre-chorus//

//Chorus//

Oooh my love! (My love!) Talking about my love! (My love!) Talking about my love! (My love!)

And it’s true, and I’m sorry!

//Piano interlude//

//Outro// Where does it go? As we grow old? Fighting for time, finding what’s mine. x8

FOLLOW ME LIKE THE MOON

It’s getting late, and now the moon is rising and I can’t stop looking at it, can’t stop thinking about it.

Can’t set it straight, no no I just can’t place it, and no I can’t erase itand I can’t stop thinking about it.

Oh what a scene, when you can’t seem to say what you mean. Oh what a shame, when you’ve only got yourself to blame.

And I try to shake it off, and then I try to sleep it off,  but you still follow me like the moon, and you still follow me like the moon.And then I try to shake it off, and then I try to sleep it off, but you still follow me like the moon, and you still follow me like the moon.

Hayayayayaya…. It’s getting late, it’s been a real hard fall trying to forget it all, and I can’t stop thinking about it.

Gotta clear my plate, I’m trying to break the habit that I’m right back at it, and I can’t stop thinking about it.

Oh what a scene, when you can’t seem to say what you mean. Oh what a shame, when you’ve only got yourself to blame.

And I try to shake it off, and then I try to sleep it off, but you still follow me like the moon, and you still follow me like the moon.

And then I try to shake it off, and then I try to sleep it off, but you still follow me like the moon, and you still follow me like the moon.

Hayayayayaya  Making the hairs on the back of my neck stand up, and it’s a little more than lust but a little bit less than love.

Feels bad when it’s unrequited, feels bad to not feel invited.

And I try to shake it off, and then I try to sleep it off, but you still follow me like the moon, and you still follow me like the moon.

And then I try to shake it off, and then I try to sleep it off, but you still follow me like the moon, and you still follow me like the moon.

And I try to shake it off, and then I try to sleep it off, but you still follow me like the moon, and you still follow me like the moon.

And then I try to shake it off, and then I try to sleep it off, but you still follow me like the moon, and you still follow me like the moon.

Hayayaya And I try to shake it off, and then I try to sleep it off, but you still follow me like the moon, and you still follow me like the moon.

And then I try to shake it off, and then I try to sleep it off, but you still follow me like the moon, and you still follow me like the moon.

IF IT ALL GOES SOUTH

//Verse 1// It's alright to feel so good around somebody, It's alright to feel it might not always last, "Would you like to?" "I would love to and as a matter of fact, I'm very glad you asked"

Maybe we're just a little sweet on each other, Maybe we will do no damage, and that's fine, 'Til we're kissing in the passenger seat, Holding up the drive-through order line

//Pre-Chorus 1// I get misty when I think of it, The end, that is, And everything unsaid, when I'm lying in my bed, But in the morning when I wake up and I think of you, It's clearer in my head

//Chorus // 'Cause we're singing too loud at a restaurant, And the waiter say, "Keep it down, whatcha want?!"And the way I feel now, you're the only one, And if it all goes south, it was a lot of fun

Suddenly we're sneaking all around 'til the break of dawn, Undercover like they don't even know we're gone, And the way I feel now, you're the only one, And if it all goes south, it was a lot of fun

//Verse 2// It's alright to know you might not have the answer, It's alright to know you might not ever know, It's like writing up your critical review before you even see the show, Then you don't bother to go

Maybe nothing ever plays out like in the movies, Maybe every lovely thing must have an end, But you're sleeping in my sweater, And I'm introducing you to my best friend

//Pre-Chorus 2// I get misty when I think of it, The end, that is, And everything I doubt thinking, "What's it all about?" We're drinking light beer 'til the future's looking real clear, Getting one more and closing out
That's what I'm talking about

//Chorus 2// 'Cause we're singing too loud at a restaurant, And the waiter say, "Keep it down, whatcha want?!" And the way I feel now, you're the only one, And if it all goes south, it was a lot of fun

Call me while you're kind of freaking out 'round 10 to 1, And I come over and we talk 'til we see the sun, Yeah, you're the only one, And if it all goes south, it was a lot of fun, And if it all goes south, it was a lot of fun

//Bridge// When it's short-lived by a little bit, It's a shame, isn't it?
Leaving everything unsaid, Keeping it all, all in your head. But we are happy and we're having fun, We're holding on, we're hanging by a thread, ooh

//Chorus 3// And we're singing too loud at a restaurant, And everybody say, "Shut up! Sit down!" Fooling all around, and now you're the only one, And if it all goes south, it was a lot of fun

Four-alarm firefighting, nothing but a water gun, Tagging out at third base, nearly had a home run, Yeah, you're the only one, And if it all goes south, we had a lot of fun, didn't we, oh
If it all goes south, we had a lot of fun
If it all goes south, we had a lot of fun
If it all goes south, well, we had a lot of fun
